ULTRA SOUND
At the ultra sound we have all routine examinations in trauma, obstetrics, abdominal for the liver, spleen kidneys and many other in response to the complain.
For pelvic we examine the urinary bladder, masses, prostate gland, ovaries/cystis, fibroid, pelvic inflammatory disease and many other cases,
The waiting time depends on various preparations especially pelvic ultra sound.
PROTECTION
Unlike x-ray ultra sound we can simply say its harmless and just like x-ray we value patients privacy.
PREPARATION
Abdominal scans may require fasting for a required time by the sonographer ranging from 4 to 8 hours.
All pelvic scans require full bladder and the end some of these exams may require patients empty the bladder for comparison.
Hospital gowns apply in ultra sound also.
